Hi.
Hey I played that game too.
>game spooped me
>>339544338
ahh
>>339544585
I wish I was an eceleb. I played this game before it was cool.
This game is actually pretty good
Got to the Happy Mask Seller guy thing with puppets and couldn't beat past it, can't remember why
It's ok, the Silent Hill like part was the creepiest
Why is this game suddenly having threads
It came out like half a year ago
>>339544338
>Tfw a total fucking pussy and dropped the game after second encounter with the puddle/following monster
>>339545339
>only form games can have threads on /v/
Stuff cycles in and out for no discernible reason. It's just how the board functions.
Tried to hoodwink my sister into playing this "cute" scary game. Brother-in-law spilled the beans that it's got spoops.
What's the name of that other unassuming game that devolves into "horror".
>>339545647
Eversion?
>>339545696
That's it, thanks. Gonna try to get her with that.
>>339545647
Slime Bomb Knight is really disturbing to me. It's kind of obviously somewhat unnerving from the start but isn't clearly a horror game until a bit into it.
What game?
>>339545339
I think its because of the name change
>>339547496
Is this due to new content or is the dev poking fun at themselves.?
>>339544048
Because of delicious Deer God
>>339547860

Super spoopy.
>>339551232
I recognize that comic, filename, 222kb and exact dimensions.
This is MY crop! I cropped this like 2 and a half years ago.
I didn't even get any responses. How does this exist?
>>339545339
Some fans are shilling it proally
>>339551232
Here
How in the fuck did anyone stand playing this?
That shit was like 3 hours of walking down straight corridors and ~10 minutes of something actually happening
I posted pretty much the same thing when it came out and I got a few "it's bad ironically, that's how it spooks you" type posts, it was just baffling.
>>339551945
Maybe you're taking it too seriously? It's important to approach a game the way the developers intended the spirit of the game to be like, or at least try to in order to get the most out of it. If you have no intention of trying that then most of your purchases will feel disappointing.
>>339552497
>Have to know how the developers wanted you to play to enjoy a product
That's a sign of a badly designed game I believe
>>339552937
Not every game is designed to appeal to everyone. I think maybe your mistake is thinking every game should be catered to you specifically.
>>339552497
What makes you think I was taking it "seriously"? I spent a whole night playing a video game with the intention of having good time, and instead played a walking simulator.
> It's important to approach a game the way the developers intended the spirit of the game to be like
??? I downloaded it and played it, was I supposed to read the novel first or some shit
>>339553049
You were supposed to figure out what the game would probably play like before you tried it. I'm trying not to give you a hard time, but you're complaining about something you definitely should have expected.
>>339544048
Game sucks but I want to fuck the ghost
>this entire thread
>no Spooky posted yet
>>339553014
and you just said whatever must be said on every single fucking game released nowadays, fucking SJWs
>>339553256
I saw a few threads about it, I watched the steam trailer, saw it had positive reviews, and I played it. It was a bad game.
What do you expect me to do? Do you expect me to spoil myself to adequately prepare myself for it? Should I watch the whole thing on youtube to get myself in the proper frame of mind?
Fuck off, I don't dislike it because it was too deep for me or whatever you're getting at, I disliked it because it had 3 times as much filler as it should have the payoff wasn't worth the grind.
>>339551497
lol, it's a funny world we live in
>>339551696
What xe fug

>>339554040
>I don't dislike it because it was too deep for me or whatever you're getting at
I wasn't implying that. I was trying to express that you need to have the right frame of mind to get the most out of every game that you're playing. Recognizing and acknowledging those moods is crucial to really enjoying your time regardless of what game you're playing.
Sometimes I feel like shooting shit, sometimes I feel like long JRPG exposition, sometimes I want to look at nothing but blurs as I race around crashing into shit. Sometimes I like casually walking around exploring in a game without much depth of interaction. Granted that mood doesn't strike me very often, it still exists. Very few games are actually so well made they can alter your mood to suit the game just by playing it. This game is not one of them. You have to be in the mood to play it otherwise you'll just be like "Well, that was dumb".
>>339554267
Why is horse cock the first thing you think of when seeing the Thumbnail?
>>339554373
Familiarity.
>>339554328
Great, but don't you think it's ridiculous to assume that someone didn't like something because they weren't "in the right state of mind"?
I don't like it because I think it's an objectively poor game, and it seems absurd to me that you would see some strangers opinions on the internet and your response "Wow, there's no way he actually dislikes it, he must not have been in the right mood when he played it"
>>339555247
I'm not saying the game deserves to be liked. I'm just suggesting that it's one of those games that has a variable experience depending on your mood. That's all.
