It did in Beta. Now it doesn't. In fact it barely does damage and only exposes her for snipers. I use it only to surekill a non-tank 1 on 1.

Pharah's ult is terrible because the moment you use it you get shot by Hanzo, Bastion or Widowmaker before you can even get the full effect off.

It's like bastion. If you get greedy and do it in a place where you could kill everyone, you better have a plan or everyone is going to kill you. Temper your expectations and do it where you can see a couple of people.

She, by far, as the worst ult and often you have to end up trading your own death for using it compared to most others that have instant damage values.
I wish she was better, but I do think shes all around more balanced than people like McCree and Widow.

Randomly stops because there's a pebble on the road (that fucking plastic table in the chinese restaurant can stop a rocket powered charge) but breaks steel railings. Can charge up stairs but breaks at the slightest ledge. Sometimes he picks up a victim by grazing their shadow, sometimes a point blank charge simple bumps them back.
>Fire Blast
Looks like a huge pillar of flame, but misses Symmetra's turrets at close range even though it's inside the fire animation. That's it actually, the most "stable" of his skills.
>Shield
Blocks everything except: Winston's lightning, Symmetra's charged attacks and Rein's Fire blast.

But it blocks Lucio's, Zenyatta's and Zarya's attacks.
What other inconsistencies are there with him? He's still great nevertheless but sometimes you just ask yourself why his still doesn't work.

Literally never been hurt by zaryas beam while shielding, no clue what you're talking about.
The only things that go through the shield are Symmetras secondary and another reins E. Winstons lightning hurts but its still stopped by the shield.

I never said that you can't/shouldn't combine ults. I'm saying that Zarya ult makes basically anything easily kill whatever is in it, and that it's a poor way to prove the worth of Pharah's ult, especially when other high damaging ults suck as Tracer's and Junkrat's do a better job of it.
