I've always pictured an Old Kingdom Fable would be episodic. Episode 1 being William Black, 2 would be the construction of the Spire and the downfall of the Archons, and 3 would be Nostro and the heroes guild.Expansion set featuring Scarlet Robe killing Balverines and Maze becoming Jack's apprentice and eventually taking over the guild
What was the reasoning behind Will being missing in Fable 3? It was there only a generation ago in the Hero of Bowerstone and there were one or two enemies that had Will abilities like Ripper with Time Control. The previous games seemed to make it a regular ability people could focus, but Fable 3 seemed to make it about Archon Blood that was so diluted that gauntlets had to be used. Was it just more shitty writing from the D-Team they pulled in to do work?

There was always speculation about those missions unlocking some "secret items", namely the entire hidden item set called Repeater Crossbows which was cut from the game.
The only known easter egg/exploit was that if you killed 1000 or so guards in Oakvale, eventually the guards will be replaced by white balverines.

Merchants paid more for goods they had less of, and you could just stand in front of the same one and repeatedly buy everything he had, then sell it back to him for profit. No idea. The implication of the Archon's blood being "diluted" is something that is discussed in Fable 1 and 2. Further along the Archon's bloodline the more corrupt and evil the descendants would be, which is why they built the Spire. I guess someone who less corrupted fled to Knothole and started a family there, which explains the heroes bloodline in Fable 1.
Will energy isn't exclusive to just the heroes family though surely, otherwise how can other heroes use it?
