What are you emulating right now?
I'm not at home right now but I was playing Warioland 3 before leaving.
I was going to emulate Crash 1 and try to finish it since I lost my progress awhile ago with my harddrive and never got back into it.
Trying to get my ps3 controller to work is a fucking nightmare and infuriated me so badly that I just quit trying. I assume it has something to do with the complete impossibility of getting my PC back to before I ever downloaded any software for ps3 controller, because now it's an unfixable, impossible to troubleshoot mess
Still pretty god damn mad I just want to play crash
Thinken of emulating this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azIZwsCGjW0
For some reason, I never heard of it before.
A friend found it, emulated it and recomended me. Youtube vids look rad.

Is this Batsugun?
Suikoden 1
It's not as good as I was hoping but still fun
Is 2 supposed to be much better or is the series just not what I thought it was
>>339486570
It's pretty good and will kick your ass, give it a go
>>339485675
the first Parasite Eve and a bunch of SNES RPGs that I missed in the golden days
>>339486734
No
If you have no idea what batsugun is why are you trying to make a shout out to it?
Are you trying to fit in?
>>339486570
It's a bit of a cult classic. Lots of people asked for a sequel.
Kind of surprised no indie studio has tried to bank on it.
Last thing emulated : PS2 Armored core games
It would have been banjo kazzooie 1&2 but those have good newer gen releases so purchased instead
To do list: Mischief makers
Ogre battle SNES titles though I doubt I will ever finish the original tried once already
Time Splitters FP
Just finished it. Was great, much better than expected. The stiff controls made it far too difficult. I can see how people miss the openness and how succint it was, but I don't think people recognize how much the aesthetics since alltp have helped, and the atmosphere since LA. Zelda 1's world is quite dead. This is in contrast to other nes games like Mario 3, which is animated, stylistic and breathing in its' own way. I can see how zelda u could marry both worlds of zelda: the open adventure and the stylistic atmosphere.

I pretty much only play STGs
Just played Aero Fighters/Sonic Wings 1+2
oh, and this game gets talked about a lot, is it a must play or is it mostly just the nostalgia talking and i am going to get a 7/10 experience?
I'm trying to apply an English patch to KH2FM but I can't get it to work. Oh well.

Zanac X Zanac for PS1
EmulatingRune Factory 3
I really want to emulate MGS 1-3 how hard is it going to be?can I also use my 360 remote?
I was thinking on emulating Front Mission 1-5. Are the games fun?
Daioujou
>>339487940
Easy.
>>339488008
I played 1 release on the DS and emulated 3. They have very simple unit progression and mechanics didn't finish 3.
>>339485675
doodoopatchy daioujou
it's not going well
I've been bouncing between Out Run and Afterburner II on MAME all day.
Now I've stopped that in favour of playing After Burner II 3D on my 3DS because these M2 Sega 3D Classics are amazing and I've never actually finished After Burner II 3D to get the special mode.I'm also checking my phone every five minutes because St George should be taking their bank fees out and I'm hoping they'll leave me enough in my account so I can just buy Out Run 3D with my card instead of having to walk down to EB and buy a $15 eShop Card with my splash cash. I can afford it, I'd just rather stay in bed and play arcade games instead of going outside today.

Those item borders and heart sprites look completely different.
Did the FDS version have different sprites to the NES version or something?
>>339485675
mind maze
Resident Evil: Chinese Mythology and Brain Teasers Edition.
>>339489224
Is it good?
>>339489519
Yes. It's Tomb Raider/Resident Evil/Splinter Cell. However, some of the puzzles are so cryptic, you need to look up the answers if you've never played it before. I would give it a 9/10.
>>339489795
Nice. I'll try it. Thanks, anon.
>>339489039
saint?
>>339487063
im emulating mischief makers now
sorta gave up when i got to the underground and had to that that fucking mission where you have to find all those lost kids and each one is like a shitty mini boss
>>339489846
Also, the puzzle logic can be annoying. The game will pull a "Did you notice this background frame? No? Then you need to backtrack and waste ammo so you can see it." Also, Clementj64 has played it, watch his LP if you need help. He explains EVERYTHING.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. It's alright so far, but it doesn't feel as solid as Circle of the Moon or Aria.
Radiata Stories
>>339490290
HoD is kind of the black sheep of the GBA/DS ones.
It's not awful, it's just really not as memorable and has a lot of flaws.
I wanna emulate Metal Slug 3 on MAME but shit ain't working. Should I use the PS2 collection one instead?
>>339490447
Yes the PS2 collection works well
Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift 2
>>339486796
2 is better, you get bonuses for having completed save data from 1 though
Should i get a flashcard for my ds or is it a meme?
>>339490637
For emulation or for DS games?
>>339490802
Ds games
>>339490956
Yeah, it's worth it if you are a piratefag. If you're a buyfag not so much.

>>339491661
>not knowing the capital of Commiefornia even if you live outside of the US
>>339491916
nice
50 points
I was figuring out the dumb fucking web that is Mednafen and its equally dumb webs in its frontends, and attempting to play Dracula X using the Circle and R2 buttons on my PS4 controller, as I was not aware that having TurboGrafix games set to 6-button modes would have them freak out.
>>339491979
i honestly couldnt name the capital of any US state
got another american question if you know it
>>339491661
I remember playing this in elementary school. A girl and I were always competing to see who could get further.
Just finished Radiant Historia and it's been a while since jrpg kept my interest through the whole thing.
Though the more I played, the worse my headache got.

Super Bomberman 5.
The boss in the alarm clock ship is total bullshit.
>Have to bomb when it moves it's bells and opens up
>Also lays like 6 big bombs all at once you somehow have to dodge ontop.
>>339492389
No; Mednafen and MedGui Reborn
seriously sideways tabs what the fuck were they thinking
>>339492525
Holy shit. I remember playing this.
So it was from Encarta 98?
>>339492862
yes
there was also a plot a lot of people probably werent aware of
>>339492845
RA is a bit simplier to use,you just need to find premade dumps with working .cue sheets and PS1/PCE emulation becomes easy peasyprotip:Rutracker has a full collection for both consoles
