Am I the only one who finds the designs stupid? The chameleon is fine, but everything else looks like a child's puke after eating crayons. Making appealing-to-all-ages characters isn't as simple as choosing an animal, mangling the shapes and adding bright colors; there is a finesse to it.
Almost everything in OP's image looks gaudy and hideous, but I think the gameplay of Overwatch falls into this same trap. This definitely isn't the future I wanted all these years of hoping for colorful games to return. We've just traded one extreme for another.

I have been in this industry since 1987. And I can tell you that through all the destructions and reimaginings of various franchises, I'm very skeptical of this being good. It's being made by a bunch of guys who are twenty years older than they were before, and are different people in total. In addition, this was funded by kickstarter. That already makes me not trust the so called "passion" of this team. None of it sits right with me. My intuition has not been wrong before, so I'm going to remain pessimistic until proven right.
That is the best position to hold so my hopes won't be dashed and if it's decent, then fine, we got a decent game in the 21st century.
