What's up /v/? I'm about to go on a 3 day trip by train, and I need some games to kill time. That being said, what games are great for long periods of time, great replay, and just have a great feel overall. Looking for 3DS specific games, but I also want to know for other devices, as I want to buy another portable system

The Game.
I strongly recommend New Leaf. At the very least you'll be able to carve out a block of time periodically which is what Animal Crossing is built on. It'll help regulate the process of sitting down for so long.
If your system is hacked, try downloading both Taiko no Tatsujin games.
Fire emblem, etrian oddesy, monster hunter, virtual console, bravely default, to name a few

Also I recommend picking a game on VC and making it your goal to 100% it. I'd do this anyway because it's fun as fuck, but it works well if you're traveling too.

I tend to prefer rhythm games to keep me occupied in trips since they're good timesinks.

I try to use microfiber towels but it takes a lot of time trying to wipe oily screens.

How do I hack a system and what are the repercussions to modding it?

At worst, bricks. Even worse, Nintendo getting full info on you then remote brick via killswitch from Reggie's office.
Rewards: free games forever.
