So what's the appeal of the G&W galleries? I understand liking retro vidya, but does the G&W games really have that much replayability and appeal?
Yes, they're actually very fun.
They're good minigames to play every once in a while.

The Galleries were nice since you got two styles for several games and despite having the same premise, they could be very different.

God tier music. Fire star mode in Game and Watch Gallery is a really great pick up challenge, and all the others just have way more games. Not all are good, but definitely a good enough number to make them worth playing.
