My opinion about Roadhog has honestly changed. He seemed like such a power house when I first started playing but after a while, I realized how limiting he actually is when it comes to accomplishing objectives.
He's stil strong, but Rein does a better job of dragging your team to the Objectives and holding them. Winston and D.Va, yes D.Va, are better at diving the back line.

Roadhog isn't meant to dive the back line.
He brings the back line to him and then one shots it.
He's a front line skirmisher, meant to get there and stay there with heavy sustain.

Being a frontline skirmisher alone doesn't win you games.
I cant speak for 6men coordinated mic teams, but your average pugs need a Rein to act as a beacon to coordinate the Offense (and sometimes Defense) 90% of the times.
A Roadhog can't do the same nearly as effectively unless your backline is just flatout better than theirs AND your flankers are killing theirs in most of the 1on1's.
