1/3 c vinegar
1/3 to 1/2 c Yamasa soy sauce (make sure its at least equal or great than the vinegar amount)
oyster sauce
black pepper (or whatever pepper you prefer)
water
lightly brown the chicken in a pan or pot(you don't have to dice it or anything. the vinegar will allow you to rend it later on). Add the onions and garlic and cook them for a few minutes. Then, add the vinegar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, spices, and enough water to completely submerge the chicken (usually a cup or so). Bring to a boil, then cover and lower the heat. Stir occasionally. Let it simmer until the liquids form a thick sauce. It cooks completely within about 25 minutes, but I prefer letting my meals boil down at much as possible (JUST DON'T LET IT BURN). Serve in small amounts on rice. Abodo tends to be too strong to eat alone.
It also usually tastes better the longer you let it sit in your fridge, as the vinegar continues to break down the meat.
