Do you mean legendaries? Because epics Have always been easy to get, thanks to 40 man raiding most raids were like 25-30 players with the rest being afk mouth breathers or the officers gf/little brother/cousin, raids were actually tuned around this.

yeah but those 40 man bosses dropped like 3 pieces and if you were a lowly druid far down in order of gearing importance it did take quite a few raids. also not all raid drops were epic in vanilla. i got several blues in raids before my first actual purp
