Now that the Xbox brand has proven an overall failure leaving Microsoft to abandon it for Windows 10+, and the NX will more than likely be Nintendo's final home console once it inevitably flops, do you forsee a Sony-only console market in the near future?
No because Sony is also shit
>yfw the Xbox dying enables GNU/Linux Steamboxes to take over Microsoft's spot in the console market
>It's a neogaf marketing thread
I wish Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn would hurry up and finish downloading.

I see a market with virtual platforms on PC

By shit you mean successful, right? And by "also" you mean "the only one who is", right?

Power corrupts. Do you remember what happened to Atari? The same will happen to Sony. Hell, it's already happening. Sony does dumb shit again, thinking that they can do no wrong.

>yfw sony has been winning non-stop for 20 years
The NX will sell 190 million and there will not be a PS5. Screencap this all you want, it's the truth and you know it

>Sony copied Microsoft with paid online
>they give you way shitter games with PS+ than you get with GwG
>this kind of behavior will only get worse
Let's wait for VR's catastrophic market failure before we project who is coming out of the next few years smelling like anything other than shit.
As a sonygger i dont want that, i have no delusions about the fact that without any competition, sony shit will turn anti-consumer very quickly
i wish another company would make a fucking effort

>assuming the market and the public perception of the medium in the Sony future will be anything like the Atari past
It also doesn't help your argument that Coleco and Mattel were stronger competition for Atari back then than Microcuck and Nintendo are for Sony right now.

LOL haven't I seen you before?
For innovation to be made, there has to be a conflict.
If both Nintendo and Xbox die in few years, Sony will be just a stagnant console in which will die eventually shorty.
By 2030 I bet we only have mobile and PC as a platform for video game.

You can already see some companies introducing their own platforms within those platforms. Apple and Google are both on mobile, but they have their own storefronts for games. Obviously Steam and the other digital storefronts on PC, including Microsoft and their efforts on W10.
