I enjoy some good pulp now and then, I don't mind things that don't take themselves seriously, but Jap shonen shit is almost all the exact same. Most of it is so fucking formulaic. Might as well spend your time watching/reading Hunter X Hunter or Naruto instead of Jojo because its the exact same boring bullshit over and over.
Game is kinda shit but also kinda fun somehow. The time control mechanics were pretty good though.
For example, you could record yourself and then rewind time so that another temporal copy of you is still doing what you did before. This lets you flank the same enemy or sneak past someone as your other self goes loud with a machine gun.

it wasn't too impressive in arx fatalis, standard "you can move normally but all enemies stop moving" kind of deal
what i liked about it though, was since you needed to draw the runes in the air with your mouse in order to cast the spells, the rune for "time" was one of the most complex and easiest to screw up, making it really feel like you accomplished something great if you were able to pull it off mid battle
