Is there a single game with open world as alive as in Space Rangers?
>galaxy cluster that lives in real time despite players activity/inactivity
>every single NPC character has its own agenda
>constantly changing and developing economy/politics/science and balance of power in ongoing war
>you are not a hero, just one of the many

The game's world is literally perfect. But HD OST isn't
Sometimes i get the feeling that only 3% of /v/ ever played this game.
i just assumed from the thumbnail that it was bionicles

I always found this cover better

>>you are not a hero, just one of the many
you're still a hero then, dumbshit

Original OST is God-tier.
But the new tracks from A War Apart feel out of place(Pirate planet music is an exception).
Glad i can turn off new music with mods
Did anybody else finished that game? I didn't even think it was possible but god damn it felt good.

You can be the biggest asshole in the Universe with army constantly on your ass.
I fucking hate the RTS missions.
>>339312320
Game ends after you kill 3 Dominator leaders.Or you can wait 60 years of game time and npc will be strong enough to kill them without you
>>339312320
I finished SR1, but fucked it up with SR2 and managed to hopelessly fall behind in 2 after setting everything on hardest like a dumbshit.

You can say "Don't give me those kinds of missions anymore" and live happily.
>Feel like playing a sim
>Try Space Rangers 2 out
>God awful space combat
>Get to a dialogue choice scene
>I literally die and have to reload a save if I make any wrong choice
This is just outright bad
>>339312672
But the pays are too good to pass up.
>>339312689
Combat is not perfect, but bitching about quests that can be done in 3 minutes?
>>339312689
git gud
>>339313263
What the fuck happened here?
Did he reflect all the damage or used viruses to make them kill each other?
>>339313430
Much simpler, in HD version one of the weapons started dealing AOE damage that scaled with HP percentage of original target
>>339313957
That sounds OP as hell.
Not as OP as IMHO 9000 back in vanilla.
