Why are Splatoon threads always spammed with garbage fanporn? Are we not allowed to talk about the actual game? Last time I saw a thread up, pretty much every post that had to do with the actual game and not lewds was ignored. Not only that, but there's barely any moderation going on in the threads, either. Seriously, the autism gets pretty out of hand. It's MLP levels of disgusting.

I really like the idea of Rainmaker and how it's sort of like Squid football. It makes me want more games in the Splatoon franchise to end up being more arcade style sports games like something from Kunio or Mutant League games.
Either that or a game like Lost Planet 2 or Phantasy Star Online. Some cool coop shit with buddies.

It shouldn't be there to fucking begin with. MK8 lets everyone vote between a bunch of maps each time, there is NO reason that Splatoon shouldn't use that method.

I can't really think of anything that would compliment how Splatoon plays, but I have ideas for existing modes.
>Splat Zone moves around the map in a static pattern and needs to be repainted each time
>Tower Control works off a checkpoint system instead of raw distance
>Rainmaker works off most caps
As of now, Splat Zones is a campfest where you get hill and push into spawn. Tower Control/Rainmaker might as well reset your score if you lose the lead, because you have to not only get back to where you were, but also beat their score.
