I just finished it recently.
I had a lot of fun with it tbqh. Areas are cool. If you liked BL2, you'd like it because it's basically BL2, but with Ground Pound.
Story is alright if you're a Jackfag and getting to hang out on the Hyperion space station was a lot of fun during those section. Almost would get the game on that alone. Seemed a little lacking in content compared to BL2, but it's been a long time since I've played BL2, so I could be wrong about exactly how long the story took to complete.
TPS seemed like the level progression happened faster though, which was really nice.
I got the Handsome Collection used to play with one of my consolefag friends even though I'd already owned all the BL2 content. I'd say it's well worth it, as none of the DLC requires a code and you just have the disc.
The Lazers and freezing are a lot of fun. Freezing can trivialize a lot of things though.
I'd say BL= 5, Bl2 = 7/8, TPS=6/7

Make sure that not only you are appropriately leveled, but that your equipment isn't underleveled. In UVHM your damage suffers if your weapon is 3 or 4 levels lower than your target.

Plus he had a glitch to move faster than Doomguy on crack. If you cancel the Beserk animation by entering a menu you lose Beserk but keep your speed boost, letting you use guns and sprint on top of the huge bass speed. But the lesser known varient is to interupt the animation not with a menu but by entering a vechile. It gets insane.
Shotguns and Rocket brick build moving at the speed of (litterally) a car was most fun I had in Bl1.

I really hope for the inevitable BL3, they tone down the talking. In BL1, I could actually immerse myself into the world and its atmosphere. BL2 and especially BLPS, the constant talking made it feel like there was always someone looking over my shoulder, which really bothered me.
