>collection for game series on Steam costs $5.49
>collection for game series on Gog costs $12

I really want to support Gog but this is ridiculous
>>
GoG is just a money laundering service for the Polish mafia so I wouldn't worry about it. They're a boon for PC piracy though, that's for sure.
>>
>>339296895
But from Gog you have good old games but from Steam you have a steaming pile of shit
>>
>>339296895
>being so poor 6$ is a big deal
maybe gaming shouldn't be a hobby. I'd rather pay 12$ than give money to those fat jews from steam, out of principle.
>>
>>339296895
wow its almost like different retailers have different sales at different times

Good point. By the way, how much of money does it go to the publishers if bought from Gog compared to Steam?
>>
>>339297178
See. Here's where you're stupid. Buying on gog or steam out of principle is fine. But buying the same product for more money with no incentive is just retarded. Even if it's a cent.
>>
>>339296895
What's ridiculous is that people buy so many game they aren't ever going to play.
>>
>>339297457
Steam takes 33% from indies. But since they don't publish those things publicly they probably have lots of backroom deals. Gog I have no fucking clue, but they actually make sure the games work atleast so there's that.
>>
>>339297714
This desu. I don't want to know how much I've spent on games i've barely played on PC.

Most console games I grab I generally force myself to play a bit further if I'm not enjoying them and sometimes they get better but I have so much choice on PC that I just immediately quit and play something else.
>>
>>339297714
That's not. That's human fucking nature. Open your dresser, odds are 90% of that shit you've wore once. Some thing goes for games. Sure I have 100 games on steam, but I really like elderscrolls.
>>
>>339297037
Yeah but sometimes I like to get games that came out after 1997.

>Oddworld is $3 on steam
>get random flashing that makes game impossible to play
>Oddworld $6 on GOG
>works perfectly with no graphical glitches

When it comes to old games I think I'm gonna use GOG from now on.
>>
>>339297957
Yeah nah. Maybe if you're a spoiled rotten piece of shit. I've worn everything I own dozens of times, at absolute minimum.

Then again, I worked to purchase these things. My mommy didn't buy them for me.
>>
>>339297957
>buying shit you only wear once

what fucking fairytale land do you live in where you only wear 2 shirts and one pair of pants?
>>
>>339298076
>Deadly Premonition on steam crashes every 5 minutes of gameplay
>works perfectly from GoG
???
>>
>>339298143
No. You're just a piece of shit with 2 shirts.
>>
>>339297505
The incentive is it's drm free. That, and you don't support valve.
>>
>>339298076
>>When it comes to old games I think I'm gonna use GOG from now on.
And I mean you could pirate from GoG but thats the service they do provide. They make the old games work, they do good work at it too.
>>
>>339297957
Are you a girl? If you can say that as a man then you might just be a homo.
>>
>>339298173
The real fucking world. Go to your work I bet you all your coworkers have the same shit they had on last week.
>>
>>339298402
Yeah no shit dumbass we have a uniform. You don't actually only have like, 5 shirts, do you?

You know wearing them that much will break them down faster, right?
>>
>>339296895
I just wish gog had a goty edition for dying light already
>>
>>339298501
>He works a job with a uniform.
Oh okay kid, isn't it getting late you have school tomorrow.

sorry, let me just get my cushy office job out of my pocket since everyone will hire now due to entry-level jobs being generous.

Oh fucking wait.
>>
>>339298291
I wish more games supported other platforms. hell ill even take origin over valve. Since theyre publicly traded theyre more willing to work with you when you have an issue.
>>
>>339298798
Nigger Walmart didn't even have a uniform.
>>
>>339298960
>walmart
>cushy job
Are we even talking about the same thing anymore?

>I want new games, so I'll look for them in a site called Good OLD Games
10/10
>>
>>339298865
You'd support EA over Valve? That's bold.
>>
>>339296895
Delete this goy
>>
Wait for a sale on GOG then.
>>
>>339296895
Old games on steam usually don't work or are missing stuff. Example: TIE Fighter on gog you get 3 versions. On steam and you get 2. Steam is missing the Collectors CD-ROM version which is hands down the best version.
>>
Steam versions of old games will usually require you fix all the problems that the GOG version will have fixed out of the box.
>>
>>339300370
>>339301003
Thanks, looks like I'll just get the Gog version.
>>
>>339296895
>>collection for game series on Steam costs $5.49
>>collection for game series on Gog costs $12

Both sites have sales and I'm assuming that steam price is from a sale.
