I actually prefer the gank invasions in das3.
In the other souls games I quickly got bored of pvp because if you go in prepared you just cream pve shitters all day.
Now that they have 2 to 4 phantoms at every time it is a lot more fun.
Especially if you get gut against ganks.
Nothing better than killing phantom after phantom while just kicking the host because he can't fight you and has to keep summoning protection.

Of course you need to consider that heavy armor doesn't behave like no armor and DaS2 did that actually kinda right.
