The gameplay is shallow and slow, the game modes are barren and simplistic, the map design is shit (not surprising considering how Blizzard have no experience with fps games and arena maps), the classes are overspecialized cripples.
The skill ceiling is low, almost everything is on a cooldown (out of place as hell in arena shooter, when the abilities should be limited only by skill and precision), and most hardly requires any skill to use.

McCree's ult is a non-issue is you have any map awareness.
Hanzo arrows are a problem though, because they are ALL aim assisted even on PC, for no real reason.

As someone who loves those kinds of games and was actually super excited for Overwatch, it really let me down. I'm just gonna whine about the map design since listing all my problems would take ages, but I also have issues with the unplayably awful tickrate, the genericly boring as hell characters with 15 minutes of voice lines between them (the least I've ever seen in this kind of game), and some of the terribly designed character kits like McRee.
The map design is just really, really godawful. The "flanks" and "alternate paths" are all either so long that with the generally slow speed everyone moves at it's way too big a risk to waste the time taking them or totally worthless because they don't do anything but put you right out in front of the enemy in the same place you'd be if you'd taken the quicker main path. Way too many single choke points, in fact I can't think of a single part of any map in the game where a team needs to hold more than one area at once. Fucked up spawn times are also a huge problem, leading to you wasting so much time slowly trudging back to the fight since the cooldowns keep you from actually being able to rollout properly. It also makes forward holds pointless and stupid because you don't want to risk taking a fight when the enemy has a spawn advantage, so you always hang back as far as you can at the designated choke point.
