You definitly have time for vidya if you can start many different games and play them for a few hours. Your problem is that you keep changing because you keep looking for variety.
If you like it and you have fun this way go ahead, having a backlog isn't as bad as most people make it out to be. I mean, it may be if games are the only thing you do, but for people like us with jobs, family etc I wouldn't say it's a huge problem. Don't know much about you but I play videogames to have fun, so if I have fun not finishing games I'll let it stay that way.
If you want to get rid of it, just select a couple of games (3-4) and stick with them. Don't play other games and most importantly don't buy new games until those are finished. That's what I did after I went on a shopping spree recently upon buying a PS4. Suddenly found myself with like a million games and I didn't know what to do with them, so I've started to play them bit by bit.

Sorry, I didn't rate Dark Souls 3 all that highly, much preferred Bloodborne. It had some great bosses but playing Danganronpa 2 unspoiled will be something I won't forget for a while.

Is danganronpa a good series for someone that in general dislikes anime? I love detective games but I'm just not fond of the anime aesthetic and general writing. Don't get me wrong, I don't 'hate' it, I just find it annoying to the point where I'd much rather not watch it.
That said, I was able to sit trough, for example, Kill la Kill because the action sequences were well done and the humor was on point. Could something similar happen with danganronpa?

The games and their characters are full to the brim with anime stereotypes, but the mysteries (or the second game's, at least. The first game mysteries were a lot weaker) and storylines are really great and rival Phoenix Wright's.
Just pirate the first one and see if its worth your time and money. The second one is miles better but it'll give you a general idea of what the series is like.

Ico
SotC is a classic to me, and I finally finished it.
Not that I think any less of Ico, but Dark Souls II just kept me occupied for so long, and I began to love smashing up asshole enemies with a greatsword. It also had it's share of cool ideas that work in the souls games that I wish were accompanied with a better implementation of all the other features like rolling and fucking AGL (eat a dick if you think adjusting the # of invincibility frames is a good idea).
Ico on the other hand had a great atmosphere and I loved exploring and solving puzzles, but it led to frustration with the controls and the lackluster combat that only served to delay my progress.
I wish more developers would make these kinds of games.
Dark Souls III doesn't feel like the connected world that the original Dark Souls had.
I hate being able to zip around the world like that.
