My favorite is The Wolf Among Us, even if I did find the last episode disappointing.

Tales from the Borderlands was easily the best with Wolf Among Us a close second. I was really surprised how good the Borderlands one was since the other Borderlands games suck ass.

All pretty much elevate the material they're based on to new heights, especially impressive in Borderlands case since I think nobody who've played it expected there being so much in there to work withIt's even more Monkey Island in spirit than Tales of Monkey Island.

Sam & Max episode quality can be a bit uneven, but its heights make up for its lows. The rest are just pretty neat for what they are.

I'd rate Strong Bad higher if the formula would have worked better in such a padded out way. Tales of Monkey Island goes between being a well written fan fic to shit tier, there's good things in it but overall it felt unnecessary. And Back to the Future was just meh, more like the cartoon show than the films.

Tales from the Boredomlands.
I hate the normal series but bought Tales since it was $3.75 on PSN at some time and I absolutely loved it.
It was funny without being memey (outside of maybe 2 lines in the whole thing), there was no SJW shit, the characters were endearing, the world was expanded upon and made really interesting and it was just a good story overall.
Shame Gearbox and Burch will probably fuck it up by killing off the Tales cast in BL3 for shock value.

Sean Vanaman single-handedly created the Telltale renaissance, and he left right after 400 days (he wrote Russell's story, the only good one in that DLC). What immediately followed was a return to form with Season 2 and Wolf Among Us.
