Just got a PS4 and am looking for some JRPG's to play. Currently on my watch list are:

I'd prefer them to not be turn based but rather roam/open world. Can anyone suggest me any games? Your thoughts? Should I just get a Vita?

hollow fragment is a very solid jrpg, recommend it 100%, bought that shit twice. lost song is a good monster hunting game but not nearly as long and a direct sequel to hollow fragment with different but similar game play. hollow realization is still in production but looking good.

The only JRPGs on that list are Neptunia, Disgaea, and Sword Art Online, and the only one that's both open world and not turn based is Sword Art Online. SAO: Hollow Fragment, that is. Don't know shit about SAO: Lost Song.

it sorter at around 15-25 hours along with lots of end game gear grinding and extra bosses vs hf which has a 20-30 hour main story + 10 hour side story along with a fuckhuge amount of areas to explore for content which is mostly bosses, looks prettier, bigger budget, monster hunting instead of mmo like jrpg. hf is better.

Well, do you have a PS3 already? If not, get a Vita. There are enough Vita RPGs that are also on PS3 that if you don't have one you can justify it more than a PS4.
...personally I'd get a Vita either way for RPGs, but that really is just up to you.
