Honestly it's because with Sora X Kairi, there's like zero romantic development between them. It feels largely implied that they just like each other for no reason at all.
That's why Sora x Nomine made Sora look better. Because as he was losing his memories, he grew attached to this girl who he held as his one and true memory.Even though it was false, it still helped him out.
Then enter Roxas x Xion. They were perfect together. They grew up together, grew close together, and began to rely on each other. It was absolutely perfectly handled, and Roxas was given a real reason to fight.

I am playing KH2, I just finished Pirates of the Caribbean world. I suddenly realized, I have no idea why I am doing anything.
The keyblade seems to be sending to a random world to do random shit over and over.

Personally, I like both characters for different reasons. Roxas is more relatable. Sora is an ideal. Roxas is like who we are, and Sora is like who we aspire to be. (Note I never played DDD or BBS, I'm going by KH, KH2, CoM cutscenes and Days).

Not exactly an original question but what are everyone's hopes and expectations in terms of Disney worlds in 3?
I'd be content with one from every post Princess and the Frog movie and one or two from early Pixar, with Toy Story obviously being a must. Preferably the only world I want to see returning is 100 Acre Woods, I'd be seriously disappointed if Agrabah, Halloween Town and the like showed up yet again.

Playing a game about a character losing his memories is waaay better if you dont know what the fuck happened, because you feel the void that sora feels, and when you finish it, play the first one, I did this and without giving spoilers, you will feel a extra connection with the MC because you will "remember" KH1 While playing it, then play kh2 and then in release order

Princess and the Frog should basically be mandatory at this point. Facilier and his shadows are made to be Heartless material. Granted the story would have to be different, either you become a frog or you help Tiana and carry her and the crew place to place with the swappable member being the crocodile who attacks with his smooth grooves.
The Emperor's New Groove is also made for it since the areas are gigantic enough to work and Yzma would be great to fight with Krunk doing silly stuff in the background. The only thing they'd need is a replacement for Eartha Kitt and who knows if the person they'd pick would be good.
Frozen is obviously going to be added so I'd like to see Olaf be a summon or something and some ice heartless here and there. Don't know how they'd do the big bad though, have the prince consumed by the darkness or something?
Jungle Book should also be done since it was almost in BBS as long as it's not the live action one since they want to cash in on that one.
Toy Story was nearly added in KH2FM+ as summons so I'd like to see if they'd bother with that as a world, though if they stay away from Pixar stuff that would be fine too even if a Monsters Inc. sounds like it could be funand have you end up going back to the Destiny Islands through a door at one point.
Only things I don't want to see are Star Wars and Marvel inclusions. We'd just end up with another PotC situation.
