The fact that a season pass costs as much or more than the game itself nowadays
>>339159869
I was talking about Nintendo.
All of Fire Emblem Awakening's DLC cost more than the base game.
>>339159869
>>339156146
I don't think this is related but when i was younger the "Gameover" or death screens along with the music used to scare me.
The genocide route of Undertale
>>339157262
My mom saw that shit and prohibited me from playing it ever again. If she hadn't coincidentally turned inside-out and spontaneously combusted the next day, I might not be playing video games today at all.

I don't think TLoU had one, it only had one expansion.
And I dunno about Uncharted 4 but I haven't hears that it has one either. None of the other Uncharted games did.
Feel free to prove me wrong though, but you're gonna look like a pretty big fucking idiot if you can't.

Any games with huge spaces of open water that actually pay off with terror? This would be thee easiest way to scare the shit out of me in a horror game.
Those flying giant monsters you find at the sea in Wind Waker
They look so unsettling and the music even gets scary when you approach them.
>>339162832
Play subnautica.
the Open Water is terrifying knowing the monsters it has
>that thread earlier where someone posted the death scene from Alien Resurrection
Fucking god damn I remember seeing that shit on tv as a kid. How did that shit not scar me

That's not a season pass. It's a bundle for one single player thing and multiplayer stuff.
Most season passes nowadays are advertised alongside the game release. But as far as I'm aware there haven't really been any Sony season passes that I can think of.
On paper I don't mind the idea of a 'season pass' once all the doc has released that allows you to purchase all the DLC for cheaper than its retail price, but advocating it before the game even releases is disgusting.
Playing as a girl in any horror game. Hell, even playing as Ada in RE4 mercenaries was hard for me since that one fucking waterworld stage had the hella angry Dr.Salvador with 2 blades. Knowing that this cute girl can get beheaded cause of my fuck-up really turned me off from playing that game.
>>339163884
Don't forget the lost of secrets and this was the first uncharted and tomb raider kind game but i still prefer this, has a lot of gameplay

Okay, tell me in clear, fluent sentences what's the difference between a bundle and a season pass.

The idea of selling extra content for a game that should have had it in the first place is disgusting.

It creeped me out when I found out one of the girlfriends in the game would actually go batshit if you break up with her and start boning the other girls. Walking out from their apartment to see your car suddenly busted up for no apparent reason then getting calls/texts from her afterward put me on edge, like she was going to kill Niko in his sleep or something eventually.

No, fighting makes the fear go away.
>STALKER CoP
>creeping around the Jupiter plant
>utter dread filling me even though nothing is visible
>armed to the teeth in my exoskeleton armor
>some mutant dogs show up
>blow them away
>fear gone for the next 5 min until dread fills me again.
>every time enemies show up it eases up but the quiet bits are the mind killer
>>339164928
I don't understand this argument, don't they continue developing that content after the game's release?
Despite the fact that I enjoy breaking games, going out of bounds can be kinda spooky because you honestly don't know what to expect out there these days, sometimes the emptiness of a map is all it takes to make a non-scary game a little bit eerie.
>>339163052
>exploring by the Aurora for some signals.
>Hear a distant roar of death
>Nope the fuck out of there
The best part is that they are adding even moregiant fucking beasts of death
>>339167917
Sometimes content is left on disk but locked behind a paywall
party memebers outside active party not getting xp
loved mario rpg for not doing that
For some reason I really don't like out-of-bounds stuff. When I was younger I used to do OOB glitches on Jak and Jak 3 all the time but now they just go right through me, hate it.
>>339167894
That's just Jupiter for you. It's the third game in the series, and you know what to expect from areas like that by now, but then there's just nothing.
Jupiter was cool as hell the first time round. Kinda sucks when you know the only thing in there is two psydogs.

I'm with you on Pripyat - it and CS Red Forest are my favourite areas in the series. Atmosphere in buckets.
