In a word? Confusing.
After successfully killing his mentor the disillusioned soldier Big Boss sneaks his way through the jungle to get back to the United States as his former mentors comrades hunt him down. Throughout his trek through the jungle he learns to love his country more and more becoming a more loyal soldier symbolized at a moment where he regains sight in one eye representing seeing how great a country the USA is. Ultimately ending with him returning home and taking on the code name Naked Snake needing his fancy equipment from the jungle no more and shedding away his former skin.

After killing a gigantic monster, the disillusioned monster hunter Heather begrudgingly connects with three people, one who informs her that the monsters are actually people. The confused Heather treks back to the spot where her father died and triggered her quest to kill all monsters, only to find that her father wasn't actually dead. The game ends with her shopping in a mall, showing her redemption and re-acceptance of normal life.
Arthas uses Frostmourne to slay the undead and give them their souls back to raise them as humans.Then he puts the sword back and goes home to save some orcs.

On his way out he imprisons a ghoul and helps the Super Mutants take over, then goes to the Hub and sells a bunch of water to the merchants that Vault 12 was keeping. After a series of adventures, mostly assisting the Super mutants and bandits ravaging the wastes, he spends the rest of the days in his vault until they all run out of water

A madman chases a bunch of heroes off his tower. All the heroes slowly begin to split up: one of them flies his dead girlfriend's airship back down to her tomb where he stole it, another decides to go live on a tiny island with her new grandfather, etc.
Madman then restores a bunch of towns with a giant laser from the top of his tower and rules over the world. A few years later, he decides he's had enough and decides to take his tower down, then all the continents of the world collide, turning what was once a barren wasteland into a verdant world.
The madman then goes onto a flying continent, where he realigns the statue of 3 gods, and lowers the continent back down to the ground. After this, he decides he no longer needs his power, and creates a whole lot of magical creatures out of portions of his magical power. A dear friend is revived, he also does other stuff like bringing back to life everyone in a castle, then extracts all the poison out of their nearby water supply to ensure their safety.
Then the group of people that split up earlier decide to reunite, foil a rebellion, and then slowly drift apart again. One of them even decides to brainwash herself and follow some soldiers in robot suits for some odd reason.

After Heather successfully resurrects the Demon God, she then eats it. After that she goes on a resurrection spree, reviving all the demonic monsters that lurk the dark corridors of the otherworld. She then goes back to her apartment to find her father dead. She decides to take a trip to the mall to get her mind off of it. Off-screen, her father is revived by a monster cultist she had just revived moments ago. In the mall, Heather resurrects a giant worm and world turns dark and twisted again. Heather, satisfied with that pleasant change of scenery, decides to grab a bite at the local burger joint and take a nap.

Your adventure begins with you closing a sarcophagus containing a bomb. You then have to go through hell just to put said sarcophagus on a boat and sent it back to where it came from. You are just a glorified delivery boy, and you also have the tendency to blow your blood into people's necks.
After successfully un-imploding Malachor V, the Jedi exile uses her lightsaber to magically heal Kreia and then travels to Telos to reconstruct a massive starship, which then sails away into space. She then brings the Jedi masters back to life and makes them go into hiding on various remote worlds. Through her travels, her friends leave her one by one and she becomes weaker and weaker, and the game ends with her constructing an asteroid from hot rocks and fire and then taking a nap in her spaceship.

A malchavian insane with the vampire curse puts a bomb in a sarcophagus and works hard to send it to Egypt as part of some insane plot. After completing his crazy quest he regains his humanity and immediately goes and bangs a hot chick.

In a wonderful world filled with light and happiness called Hyrule, the powerful Master Sword is stolen by a young man wearing all green called Link. He wishes upon the Triforce and suddenly everything and everyone is shifted into a dark world while Link resurrects the King of Evil, Ganon. After reviving Ganon, Link travels the land, sealing princess into crystals and hiding them in various castles, crypts and dungeons, and slowly hiding powerful artifacts in caves and forests. It's discovered that Link is also a were-rabbit who can travel between the corrupt Dark World and the old Hyrule. While in the Light World, Link kills the advisor to the King, Aghanim. He returns the Master Sword to the forest and resumes his journey with a simple blade. He then travels to the main 3 holy shrines in Hyrule, slaying the protector beasts there, and placing 3 medallions deep inside and giving away various items to libraries, the Zora and others. He meets with the royal princess Zelda as she attends a church service and together they crawl back through a secret passage into the castle's throne room where they discover the King and Queen have been killed. Zelda is thrown into the dungeon and Link escapes through another secret tunnel. He finds his uncle, dead, lying in a pool of water and gives him the last of his posessions; an old sword and small shield, which miraculously returns him to life. Finally, Link makes his way back home and hops into bed, ignoring the telepathic cries for help from Zelda for her wrongful imprisonment, and goes to sleep. The end.Link ends up being an evil philanthropist who wants to watch the world burn.

Your job as the player is to carefully dismantle everything in the entire game, level by level, piece by piece, until there is nothing but a blank slate.
A known hero of the wasteland crested two factions, ressurects a lot of dead people with magical guns, (including his adult son), and possibly un-detonates a nuclear bomb, and eventually enters vault 101, which has a time travel chamber.
He enters the time travel chamber and goes sixty years in the past.
An agent named Kellog delivers his infant son to him in the past, and ressurects his dead wife in the past.
He then travels back 140 more years before the nuclear holocaust happens, and he lives happily in a Retrofuturistic world.
