2 was boring, gameplay-wise, and had a clusterfuck of a story. Solidus had literally 0 development and Dead Cell was riddled with plot holes.
3 was pretty good, but everything it did gameplay-wise, 4 and V did better. Plot-wise is was copypasted from various action and spy movies. That doesn't make it bad, just derivative and unoriginal.
