So what's the /v/erdict on this? Is it worth playing if I liked Revelations 1?
>>339133174
It's worth playing if you liked raid mode.
>>339133174
If you liked Revelations 1 then yeah definietly.
Still not as good as RE4 or RE5 tho. Its got some cool story parts in it tho.
>>339133174
best RE since 4: spooky enviroments, great atmosphere, no over the top action.
>>339133174
Worth it for Barry alone.
>>339135606
>I've got THIS
>>339133174
Yes. Especially with a friend.
>>339135606
>>339135748
All those throwbacks. Pure bliss. Barry going full Barry at the end. Fantastic.
>>339133174
I liked it.
>>339133174
It's not as good as Revelations 1. They dropped the dodge in RER2. Yea, RER2 has a dodge button, but you don't get that perfect dodge that would always allow you to evade something that RER1 had. It was one of my favorite things about RER1.
I saw that GMG is having a sale on Resident Evil games. The last one I played was 4, are any of the ones after that worth playing?
>>339133174
Better than the first one but still a shit game
Was that ending supposed to be setting up for a sequel/dlc or did I fuck up?
Brick simulator of the year.
>>339137542
Which ending did you get?
>>339133174
>4,5,6 and rev1 run smooth as butter
>rev2 stutters all over the fucking placestill got to XIII in raid mode
bad ports should be illegal
>>339133174
The moral choice is stupidest thing I have ever seen in a co-op game. The good end is full of plotholes.
Claire&Moira duo is great and both can enjoy playing. However Barry&girl duo is garbage for the girl player.
The gameplay is good but the moral choice is utter shit that doesn't play into co-operative gameplay at all, and playing is the little girl is boring and dull.
Also no co-op over internet, WHAT THE FUCK?
Rev1 was overall better
If you're still here OP, I can give you a key for Episode 1 that I'm not using.
>>339137542
Multiple endings dependent on a single QTE.
Yes, it's dumb.
>>339137742
>Rev1 was overall better
Unfortunately it is, the raid mode had 3 different modes
In Rev2, it just spams more elemental enemies (ruined it for me)
>>339137831
>Multiple endings dependent on a single QTE
Fuck.
>>339137583
Bad guy wins and just walks away.
>>339137831
>>339137983
They should've telegraphed the significance of this decision better, or at least made it more clear there actually was a decision being made, even if it was something stupid like "Moira will remember that" pops up on the screen afterwords.
>>339137742
>However Barry&girl duo is garbage for the girl player.
Nattie was by far my favorite part of that game.
Beating the shit out of things with bricks was a lot of fun.
Will we ever get a revelations 3?
>>339138264
Wasn't there talks about a "Season Two" for Revelations 2 or something?
>>339138264
Capcom put up a video not too long ago.
The director and producer said they'll like Rev to continue as a side series to the main numbered titles.
>>339138137
>entire game they hint at why moira won't be useful and just use a gun over and over
>obvious scene comes up where Claire cannot reach her gun and maybe it is time for moira to overcome her complex
Maybe it should have been telegraphed harder!
i know that doesn't really mean anything but this game is 10/10 in couch coop. asymmetric coop is always fun
best thing to happen to the series since 4. granted thats not saying much.
>>339135748
>>339135748
>>339136449
I still love how Moira finally starts to embrace her own innate Burton cheesiness at the end of the game.
>>339133174
Raid mode is great it's like playing Phantasy Star with guns.
Many hours in co op so far.
>>339133174
>Is it worth playing if I liked Revelations 1?
No, because it's good, and if you liked Revelations 1, you like bad games.
Claire Sandwich
Master of Unlocking
I have this
Oh, Barry. You're the best.
>>339137742
You can do co-op with share play on PS4
Revelations 2 is a bad game. reused asset garbage tier.
The moral choice just took a huge shit in the mouth of anyone who played it through the first time on co-op.
Wasn't exactly a climatic ending when the bad guy (who did literally nothing wrong) just walked away
>>339143883
>who did literally nothing wrong
Did we play the same game?
Looking back, Revelations 1 was better.
Also raid mode in this game feels very grindy compared to the 1st one. Doesn't help that all characters have the same model and skills.
>>339144364
Didn't help that it used RE6 environments for the majority of the mode which were boring and generic.
>>339137762
How?
>>339133174
Yes, it's better with co-op and it's a shame the co-op is only local
>>339144907
Episode 1 should be free by itself.
>>339133174
Yes its good, its alot better than Rev 1 and actually manages to be feel creepy in some of the Barry sections.
