They ruined it by making Booker actually Comstock.
It also would have been better if we had self-righteous monologues from Comstock like we did Ryan in the first game.

So many huge areas to go around and explore and they give you nothing interesting for doing it. It's like they took out what appealed to me about the Shock games in general and just turned it into a generic shooter.
It was pretty disappointing.
Some interesting art design and worldbuilding interrupted by boring FPS chores.
Even if the game had been mechanically on point (it wasn't), the action parts felt like they had nothing to do with the story.
Story was typical WHOA MINDFUCK nonsense with no interesting characters.
