Detolfs from Ikea are pretty much the only cheap glass display cases you can find besides Billy's which are also from Ikea. Anything else costs hundreds more unless you find it at a garage sale or on craigslist

Well for metal gear you have quite a lot actually. There was the McFarlane line of the mgs1 abd 2 cast, fantastic sculpts and paint but very limited articulation, more like statues. There are the revoltechs which are quite small but still pretty nice. Mgs2 snake has a figma however I've heard pretty awful things about it. Mgsr raiden has many figures so if your a fan of revengence you'll like that. Metal gear rex and ray have some figues and model kits however I believe those are on the pricier side. If you like chibi, which I'm guessing you don't, mgs1 snake, mgs2 raiden, and venom snake have nendos. Hope this helps.

Theres a bunch of MGS stuff out there. I'd recommend the Vulcanlog Venom Snake, Figma MGS2 Solid Snake, Revoltech Mini MGS1 Solid Snake, Revoltech Raiden, and if you really want to splurge, the ThreeA Half Size Metal Gear REX.
Those are pretty much the best for their respective values.

The Megaman there was like $200. I got the exclusive version for ~$180 (dead eBay auction) and honestly it's not bad in person. My only issues is his mouth, and it's more with the pose they chose rather than the sculpt. All of their Metroid ones are great, the Viewtiful Joe and Vyse ones are nice too (And Vyse is like $150 now days). I don't own them personally though.
Getting their Ammy just out of lack of options for merch there, but I'm hopeful on it. Things that aren't typical human form usually come out better from them.
