what game do you go back and play over and over again?
>>339102527
rokkuman ekussu
Stronghold. When I'm depressed especially I'll stare at the free build for hours ignoring the outside world.
>>339102527
what gaem? looks cool
>>339103172
Oboro Muramasa, it's pretty good. Get the Vita remaster, it's a lot better than the Wii one.
Umihara Kawase series, STALKER series, Megaman Zero series, Streets of Rage 2 and a lot if arcade games like Ghosts n Goblins, Espgaluda and R Type
Oot and mm
>>339102527
Truly a masterpiece.
everything in this game just flows together so perfectly and the enviornments are comfy as fuck.
>>339102527
you should actually try and beat Battletoads. you know you want to be one of the elites! you know you want to truly GIT GUD!!!
>>339104198
You will only be an "elite" to casuals who know nothing about video games outside of what they heard on AVGN
>>339102527
Its such a fun game and easy to just pick up and play.
>>339102527
It's never quite the same as the first time around, but every playthough is still 10/10 comfy
>>339104572
>implying anyone here actually beat battletoads
>>339102527
New Vegas because my spurs never stopped jingle janglin.
Mario Party with friends
DA:O and gears of war 1 and 2 on the 360, and OoT and SSB on the n64.
>>339104927
What game is this bud?
I'm still trying to unlock shit.
>>339102527
This gem right here. est western game i've ever played.
>That gameplay
>That story and story progression
>That setting
>>339105646
I only ever got to the part everyone gets to and dies.
I always come back to this when i'm fed up with whatever game i've decided to invest my week into.
and it knows. When i get frustrated i always get those super OP runs that let me just run through with no sweat. And when i can't enjoy another game for some reason i always come back and immediately get one of those super challenging but satisfying runs.
I've 1001%'d the game three times now, and yet i still can't stop playing
>>339106084
it really isn't that hard after a few tries. I've done it shitfaced. it's level 8 that usually fucks my shit up
Always and forever.
>>339106257
I should give it another go, I was shitty the last time I played.
>>339104198
back when I owned an NES console, I beat most of the ones I had, including NG1+2, CV2, zelda 1+2, dr chaos
battletoads I got past the bike race a few times but just couldn't maintain my interest
it does not forgive
>>339106064
Just thinking about trying to hit three perfect counters in a row makes my palms sweat
>>339102527
Final Fantasy Tactics.
>>339102527
>tfw I literally can't beat any screen that has 3 samurai show up
I don't know how it's possible. I just get lucky when I respawn that it's any other combo of enemies.
spec ops
>>339105646
That's more because it's a shitty game than anything. Even Arino beat it. Granted it was an easier version but still. It's one of those "hard" meme games like Ghosts n Goblins, Ninja Gaiden, Silver Surfer and Castlevania 3 which aren't difficult at all to anyone experienced.
I've beat this a good....20 times now.
>>339106046
Journey
They redid it in HD on PS4 not too long ago.
Warband, there's usually a new mod that looks interesting as well
>>339106754
Stream when?
>>339106292
That game is where the series turned to shit for me.
>>339106606git gud
Really just remember to use your sword break ability and go crazy on them when there's an opening.
>tfw you beat the challenge cave with 6+ samurai at once
>>339104927
I did not care for this at all to the point where I just dropped it.
>>339106909
This desu.
>>339106603
Nearly 20 years and no tactical rpg has been as satisfying :(
I liked Muramasa at first but god damn it just got so repetitive to me.
I go back and play all 3 from time to time
>>339107509
What turned you off it?
>>339108413
It just wasn't clicking. And I normally dig the whole "dick around and look at a pretty world" thing.
>>339102527
I seriously never get tired of kicking shit around, throwing barrels at people, kncoking people off ledges, using telekenisis, etc.
Probably my #1 game of all time, setting is great, don't give a shit about story, and the combat is 11/10
>>339108591
I've got my own place so I shut off all the lights and all that when I first played through it. It helped me get invested and I think that was the real difference maker.
What other kind of 'dick around and look at the pretty world' games have you played that you liked?
>>339109445
It's generally not about the game being ABOUT THAT, but the fact that I'm doing it IN the game.
Crysis, the Xenoblades, anything that looks good.
I suppose it's that it's something to do alongside what I'm playing.
I think it's why I can't get into RPGs without nice overworlds.
>>339102527
You just posted it. Been going through fury and on the DLC now.
every year.
>>339106292
There's a youtube video that's a complation of the cutscenes that I listen to from time to time from blood omen up to defiance.
I don't like the gameplay enough to replay them over and over but the story and acting is great.
This one, desu.
>>339109790
Makes sense. I felt that way about Bioshock when I played it, and Metro to a degree though it felt like there was a lot less to look at.
Are you excited for No Man's Sky? Seems like it'll be a lot like what you described.
Have beat it like 5 times.
>>339102527
I have started this game multiple times and I always drop it because its fucking boring.
And to answer the thread, Megaman X, just like the first poster who is clearly a good man.
>>339102527
I still haven't beat the game on the difficulty where you die in one hit. I really need to pick up Odin Sphere when it comes out.
>>339106603
>>339107714
Have any of you triedFantasy War TacticsonMobile?
Also, what happened to that one FFT mod that was being made? I last heard about it like 8 months ago.
I play SMW at least once a year. Actually it's getting to be about that time again as a matter of fact.
God hand
sengoku rance
star fox 64
the ace combat holy trilogy
prob my biggest
prey and turok evolution
Final Fantasy Tactics 1.3
>>339111202
Not even a little bit. And I put games on my backlog on a whim.
Procedurally generated time waster. There's got to be an end to any madness I begin.
And if it turns out fucking amazing then I'll jump into it then.
Zero, absolutely zero expectation for it.
>>339103080
Rev up those stockpiles
>>339113470
Thoughts on Stellaris?
>>339113205
The release on the new 3DS was one of the best things to happen to the system of all time.
>>339113470
i need to reinstall that
>>339114045
its good enough
>>339114031
That's a lot of stone
>>339114189
There's never enough stone
