So there's an early alpha out for Slipstream.

>It's an indie game taking too much inspiration from an older game episode
Aside from that, what makes you think arcade racers are coming back? Not saying you're wrong or anything, the thought actually makes meexcited

The trees and shrubs are too high res and clash with the rest of the scene. Other than that it looks really nice.
I hope both this and Drift Stage are fun

drift stage looks p.cool, the others not so much
>>339094939
Drift Stage actually looks really good. They could benefit from making those window reflections less hideous though.
90's Arcade Racer looked fucking amazing, shame it's just another kikestarter scam.
>>339094939
Power Drive 9000 looks awesome
>>339094939
I'd rather play 90s Arcade Racer, I grew up with Daytona and at least it didn't have SORETROXD graphics
>>339095407
I wouldnt call it a scam. seems like the guy had every intention to make it, but some kind of drama flared up with one of the other devs or something and he just vanished after that and seemingly abandoned the project, apparently to work on another game.
some people say hes still working on it but I doubt it.

>SORETROXD graphics
literally nothing wrong with that. part of what made many of those games memorable was the limited technology which meant you had to compensate with brighter colors and actual memorability, compared to now where everything tries to be super realistic
