Lightning is definitely shit due to it's proprietary nature but it's design is superior to USB C, as there are no center pins. It's a single solid connector which makes the connector less likely to get damaged and easier to plug in. I definitely don't love all Apple products (I've never owned an iPhone, iPod, or iPad) but some of their stuff is decent if you can find it at the right price.

every smart phone has a bill of materials between $150-250 and it's not like Samsung, Sony, and HTC sells their phones for significantly less. Hell, Samsung phones are often more expensive than iPhones without a contract.
I'm happy with my Xperia Z3 Compact and have no plans to upgrade in the near future.

I own an iMac and magic mouse, they do only have one (physical) button
the top of the magic mouse is basically a touchpad with multitouch, so a press of the button will be either left or right based on where your finger is. The scroll wheel is virtual and in the center of the touchpad. It works perfectly fine for browsing the web and stuff but it's impossible to play games because you cannot press left and right click simultaneously.

I geniunely can't find anything better than an ipod touch for what it does. Nice to have it seperate from a phone since you can watch all your porn on that, keeping the phone free of it. That and it just werks nearly 6 years since I bought it.

Honestly why do people get apple shit when there are cheaper options that do the same shit, and then some?
Droids and Apples can run the same apps, but one can be properly customized and edited, and still costs less, with the only difference being you aren't paying an extra two hundred bucks for wrapping paper and a fancy charger plug that only works with other apple shit.
I was given an IPad 2 for my birthday and the dumb thing ran out of memory in less than a year, and I've spent almost 100 bucks on just replacing the cables because the shit degrades so quick, tears, and eventually the head rips off.
Only reason I still have the thing is that I'm too poor to get a different tablet or laptop and it's easier to carry around than a 60-pound PC with monitor and keyboard.
Hell, the thing can't save gifs or Webms as anything other than JPGs.
