This is the worst point for me, there's simply nothing really unique, the vaults were boring, there're barely any unique weapons or enemies.
I miss "GARY GARY!"
I switched to a woman character because the man's voice acting was so dull. Pretty much the only problem i had with the game was the dialog in general, but that didnt stop me from sinking 200 hours into it before any DLC came out. Im looking forward to playing it again after more DLC is released and hopefully some tweaks here and there. You wont see me making autist threads about a game i wasnt 100% happy with, thats for sure.

Your mistake is treating Fallout 4 as an RPG, when it is clearly trying to be just another open world shooter.
Problem is, even as a shooter, Fallout 4 is shit.

>walk to the next floor of the building
>a new war starts as you get halfway up the stairs
>wait for war to end

>once again the war resumes, for 30 seconds, explosions everywhere, debris falling from the ceiling

Because NPCs aren't actually fighting, that fighting is all scripted events.
When you're out in the world you do fairly often hear firefights going on in the distance, NPCs do wander into fights with others quite often.

I'm honestly hoping someone wipes all the audio from conversations and rewrites the entire game with a better story, more fleshed out factions, a redesigned dialogue system, and so on.
It's really the only big issue that mods won't fix. Bullet sponge enemies, a shitty map, the butchering of the skill tree can all be repaired I think, it'll just take some time.
