I've only played the first one thus far, but it was kinda meh overall. Though I wasn't expecting much more than that, it being a port of a game that came out in 1992 that I played in 2016. Demon fusion was fun though.
I'm kinda looking forward to SMT III, but I'm not expecting it to be as good as /v/ says. Looking more forward to IV and IV Final actually.

Strange Journey is my favorite SMT game and I only played it last year. But I guess everyone has their own tastes and opinions. I feel like SMT is a series where it's pretty acceptable for everyone to have a favorite that differs from one another without other people flaming them for having shit tasteunless it's persona. I still have to play Soul Hackers, I started it but didn't really like the UI and it seemed like the fps was dropping or something on the 3DS version which irked me. SMTIV was fun, and I feel the same about Nocturne it was fun but wasn't my favorite.
