I would get a refund if I hadn't dropped 26 hours into it already. I've been playing for literally less than a week, and the game has been taken offline at least 5 different times. And during 3 of the times it was taken offline, they still didn't fix the double UI bug.
No wonder /v/ never talks about this game. This is the buggiest shit I've ever played in my 20 years of gaming.

game isn't quite dead yet, and the new patch is really helping to bring back a lot of people. the problem is, they suck at running an MMO(if this counts as one)
too many bugs and exploits. the PC is crawling with cheaters. end-game content was bad before, but the new "raid" and solo PvE options have improved things. still a ways to go to making things better.
I think the one thing that would bring back a lot of players is the one thing they really don't want to do, which is to create PvE servers for DZ. all the crying about getting ganked and forcing players to group up for this content, would instantly go away.

The amount of bugs and exploits that subvert the game have ruined it already. People who took advantage of the exploits have materials and gear that people wont get by normal methods for months, so there is this big divide in player effectiveness.
Ill be honest, I liked the game, it was a time sink I played with a friend, but youre grinding for nothing here, youve already got the best gear if youve got an incursion set, and after that theres nothing to do. The newest Incursion is actually good, it requires people to play together instead of running in and wiping the floor with the NPCs, you know, you have to actually play the game instead of just grind piss easy enemies? This is shit that shouldve been in the game at launch. Its too late now, the game is dead, they fucked up with their complete incompetence. They havent even released the wave survival modes and expanded mission packs and the game is dead.
What they shouldve done was have the whole overworld map like the DZ where there are players running around, but pvp was only doable in the DZ area. The entire fucking map is pointless after youve been through the game once, its full of nothing.

Ther are some very good ideas tucked away in the division, and the gameplay is solid but the mission pacing is way off. Walking super slow around manhattan, enemies that turn into bullet sponges when they are a level or two above you, terrible loot and very high store prices.
Most of the major issues could actually be fixed with a patch, but the game just feels broken like OP says.

Someone please help me here. How on earth does one make decent build that can both deal damage and be atleast somewhat tanky?
I've never been good at micromanaging or doing specific builds, even less the ones that need math/calculations.
I sacrificed my Skill which is now 500. Got something like 3500 firepower and 2000 stamina. DPS is 175000 and toughness is somewhere below 20000, armor sits at 60%.
But I seriously need to deal even more damage and resist even more damage.
I have 3 pieces of gear that have score 240. Does it just come to the fact that I need everything to be in 240 with godlike rolls?
