This entire thought process is exactly reversed on NG+7. NK is easy to dodge, so even if he does a lot of damage, you're never stressed out. Soul of Cinder, you can mess up constantly and he would do a crapload of damage unlike in NG.

Nameless King was one of those bossfights that made me work really hard to kill big bird and once I was fighting him he'd destroy me before I could even begin to get his move timings and it was so frustrating that I didn't know how long it would take me. By the time I beat him I hardly used any estus and I using my second character I beat him within like 2 tries. Same with Dancer.

Champion Gundyr is that he's an amazing boss with a great moveset and challenging difficulty. The problem he has is that some people fight him way overleveled with 15 chugs of +11 Estus. Then they come on /v/ and complain how overrated and easy he is. What these faggots don't understand is that he's meant to be fought around soul level 60-70. Fighting him at soul level 120 with maxed out gear and Estus isn't going to be hard.

They still have the durability mechanic but weapons are healed by bonfires and since there's a bonfire every 5 feet it doesn't seem to be an issue.
There's also no weapon degrading spells or effects like there was in Dark Souls 1.
