All I'm saying is that the scene where she holds off an army of Monokumas (the narration tells you that it increased by the dozen and was over hundred towards the end while she was still fighting and destroying Monokumas) was over-the-top that it took me out of the story a bit. I was already convinced by that point that Mukuro was a badass, this scene felt like the sort of unnecessary "wish fulfillment fixfic" that >>338741356 mentioned, partly it didn't seem to match up alongside DR1 where Sakura taking out 1 Monokuma was in itself made out to be a huge deal.

I'm not a good person to chip in here, given that I haven't read IF, but I always figured that the Monokumas in AE were assembly-line mass-produced single-purpose robots that had rudimentary AI and weapons whereas Headmaster Monokuma was a very special, unique robot fully packed with cool shit.

By the time there are hundreds it doesn't really tell you how much she beat, and again, Mukuro loses. The point of that scene is that she has to hold off Monokuma to protect Naegi and the others while also perhaps just going out in a blaze of glory. If it was only, like, 4 Monokumas it'd make no sense because we already know there's more than that.
