Overwatch's first person animations are fantastic, tf2s are average but their age is really beginining to show. They look stale and weightless especially in that fucking source engine that does not support dynamic momentum when looking around in first person.
So many intricacies you children aren't aware of that make a first person experience have so much more weight and impact. In overwatch you can move your gun suddendly to the left and see the barrel point that way with your arms momentum for a brief moment. They have a blending system to combine your walking animation with your shooting and reloading animations. They have camera animation that simulates a head moving ever so slightly. Tf2 has none of this shit, fixed first person camera, no blending of animations, and the position of the arm and weapon models are entirely fixed no matter how hard to the left or right you look.

I really don't know what sort of objective standard you feel the game should be based. It feels a lot like Team Fortress 2. It is silly, it has classes that can compliment each other in unique ways, and the matches are all objective based to some extent. The game runs well, and has options for newcomers and seasoned veterans in the form of more complicated characters. Plus since the beta, there doesn't seem to be one particular OP class.

understandable, the main point i was trying to raise is that animations are a very very large part of any game. I personally believe many other elements of overwatch are well done (the aesthetics, the easy-to-pick-up controls, the balance and focus on counter picking). Please face the simple fact that Blizzard went for the feel-good solution here and simply opted for not showing any player stats in order to make horribly bad players feel like they're worth something.
