I like PC because of the freedom and flexibility. You build your own machine, you set your own graphics settings, you figure out ways to get passed broken parts of the game, mods, etc..
Example: Dark souls 1 was broken was fuck for PC, then the PC community fixed it and there's also a way to get better textures for it.
Another game: Xenoblade chronicles emulated on dolphin, you can render it on any resolution you can handle as opposed to the Wii's 720p and you can also get high res textures to make it look way better than it did on the Wii. Then you can change the in game overlay to match your controller (I have a PS4 controller)
Some dude made a mod equivalent to a DLC for skyrim.

Like I said you can get prices cheaper if you shop around. Buy a video card on ebay, recycle a used hard drive you have lying around, find a motherboard cpu combo at a discount, go to a computer shop and buy an old computer case for cheap, it's not rocket science. In the end you get more for your money, take the subscription to playstation plus and put that money towards the pc build.
Consolefags seem to take convenience over an enjoyable gaming experience which is the worst part of it. Enjoy your sub 30fps and expensive games (or lack thereof since there's maybe 1 good ps4 game a year at best).

I've bought the console at Bloodborne launch, and I literally played only this and the Last of Remasterd since in old gen I got x360.
For a casual players and peeps with absolute zero tech savy, console is the good choice.
Also, its easier for underage weeb NEETS to beg for another game then to justify to their parents that tey need another "RAM sound card"
Furthermore, i love some of the titles that will never come to consoles (Total War, Space and fighter simulaters, Relic RTS)

A PC can much more than gaming and netflix. A PC is for general use like typing documents, do stuff like homework, file tax returns, etc., editing images, editing videos, an environment for programming stuff, etc. Plus a PC can output games more than 15 FPS.
