The Nadine fights are disgusting, they don't test the players skill, they don't make the player feel like they lost a fight, or the villain was really strong, instead it feels like you're playing a cutscene.
The fighting controls are changed for the Nadine sections, meaning you can't roll or dodge or fight like you normally can in the game, instead it's scripted heavily and restricts the player to quick time events.
It's even more sexist that they thought this would have made a good female villain since she ends up running away at the end of the game and she never comes across as a smart villain or someone you care about.

Well he's right in one case. That one part where Nadine is bobbing and weaving out of Nathan's reach in the mansion at night is totally plausible, because she's the head of a PMC and is well-trained, easily beating out Nathan's explorer combat skills. He's not trained in hand to hand combat, and she could probably easily outmaneuver him.
When I see Nadine push Nate up against a wall, constantly whacking him with her fists while Nathan for some reason can't do anything against this 150 pound woman, then sucker punch his brother and continue to beat on him, I'm officially taken out of the story. Men are stronger than women, and while Nathan may not be a trained fighter, there's no fucking way he'd just let her beat on him against the wall. Why not have a similar fight scene to the mansion scene, but have Nathan get one or two hits in on her showing that he's getting slightly better as he continues to get back into the groove of things. I think that'd fit a whole lot better thematically.
