The servers worked flawlessly during the open beta with it's nearly 10 million participants, I'm pretty sure they'll be just fine with significantly less people playing because of the pay wall.
The matchmaking will be shit for weeks until everyone has had their chance to play enough to get settled into their rankings.

i'm not that guy, but imo the cod and battlefield franchises are really firmly entrenched on consoles, and in general it seems shooters are really strong on console even if using a controller isn't the most optimal way to play. people who aren't really passionate about overwatch or put off by it will move on to one of the other bazillion shooters available to them. pc communities seem a bit more resilient.

That's a size thing I assume. Smaller countries are more dynamic, issues are more easily addressed, corruption is harder to hide, etc.
I've spent time in many European countries, and in the US as well, both east and west. I can't explain it entirely, but something is definitely stopping your taxes from being used to better your living environment.
Medical care is not bad, but extremely expensive. Education is both expensive and lacking. Infrastructure and homes are low quality. Ghetto's barely exist in Western Europe, so those were a bit of a culture shock.
