At the point Oceiros loses all control, he notably slams his hands down into the ground, with an upburst of blue liquid exploding outwards.
In addition, you can vaguely hear baby noises in the fight.
Personally, I can understand why they took it out of the fight, it would have been incredibly gruesome, but it also added to the character by making him seem more maddened.

In DS1 the Abyss was trying to engulf the world but in the canon ending it's defeated, and in DS1 Pyromancy was treated as heretical and evil, so it would be reasonable to assume that mixing the two would be dangerous.
I figured that in DS3 they'd been mixed and the Profaned Flame is the result, a new weapon against the status quo by the Abyss.

This is total theory clickbait, but I've been subscribed to the theory that velka is the wife of gwyn for a few games now, and assuming thats true DS3 shows the family bloodline gets all crazy n shit.
I think velka and gwynerear are both beastiality inducing whores, and their genetics are spread across many characters through the series. So invisibility isn't a dragon thing, it's a velka thing. So priscilla has it in her DNA, and so does Ocelotte, and so do the crows.
In eastern literature crows are often used as messengers of the gods, and at the beginning of DS1 it's often theorized that velka was using a crow to help carry the chosen undead to lordran, this is jumping the shark quite a bit but what if the crow was willing to help because she offered him invisible and safe children there?
Invisible crows are found near the beginning of each main characters journey, as if spying on the player and still acting as messengers for velka, wherever she may be, idk if she's alive and hiding or what.

Yeah Velka's always has been a rogue goddess, and whether priscilla is her's or gwynevere's, if velka is mother to gwynevere then the dna is still there.
The darkmoon blades are only worried about sins committed against the gods aka the gwyn family, and velka was more interested in sins in general so her leaving also kinda fits. Going everywhere and fucking everything (in a cool loving way) is totally a gwynavere kind of thing to do, so it's always just been easy to headcannon velka being her mother.
