This. Also got my two Well Kept concords on one session by beating two fingers and one aldrich, with a great lance of all weapons and me and the host being pelted with great arrows.
Its also one of Dark Souls 3's finest moments for me because after I was summoned and the host was then invaded by the Aldrich Faithful after the two Fingers had already entered the map, another Darkmoon had been summoned through concord. The game was actually working as intended. Host was also competitive enough to dodge all the arrows and survive until reinforcements arrived.
Its amazing what one Darkmoon, or hell any extra summon can contribute. Killing three invaders while also dealing with infinite stamina silver knights. Although not everyone can be so lucky as to get summoned all the time, always give it your all lads. You're fighting Fingers, who are always respeccing to have the best outlook in PVP.
Nothing better than great lancing two reds off the rooftop and stabbing the aldrich faithful with a massive lance up his butt.
I also encountered a sunbro, a red, and an aldrich one time and they formed a triangle around the host trying to kill her. Pre-nerf washing pole and parrying was great. Seeing your Estus flask go up by one use after kicking ass, and knowing you're helping the host because he/she also gets uses back, feels great. Also the bow from the host back then felt amazing after we killed the invaders as I knew I actually did play good and received thanks that I deserved for it.

that's not the problem, try reading the thread. there's most likely a pool of players (probably sorted by some hidden player id) and players at the top are always prioritized while players being sorted at the bottom will never get summoned. the sentinels already have an extremely generous summon range of -30 or some shit, and you can be summoned into any area in the game regardless of where you're at

DkS2's DLC is considered better than the base game and arguably redeems it.

Eh, I just find 90% of people are just outright hostile to purples. It doesn't help with all the fightclubs and gank squads in that last bit of Road of Sacrifices (where Crystal Sage is). I swear that's the best area to invade, but so many people just set up ganks.

On the off-chance you aren't baiting, the main things these frequent patches are just balance tweaks for weapons/magic, not huge bug fixes. Of course there's a few bug fixes sprinkled in but they tend to be relatively minor unless something major was discovered and brought to From's attention.
Also, I'd rather have a company who puts out small patches regularly than a company who only yearly releases a major patch to their games. There's less damage done if a patch introduces another major imbalance/bug.This doesn't mean they're perfect though. They have a major track record of denying problems exist or repeatedly failing to fix things they set out to. They have great ideas but they fail at putting them into action way more than they should, be it from coding ineptitude or laziness.
