The game has been out a while now and is losing steam. I've personally lost all interest in it.

Currently a Pure strength build. Have 30 strength, 20 VIT, 25 Vigor, 15 End. Can swing Vordt's mace 3 times. Even at only level 50 and Vordt's hammer +1 I'm hitting for 300's.
Plan on respeccing into a strength/faith build when I'm done with the game and about to go into NG+. Or at least after I've killed the various Lords. Starting off as strength/faith SUCKS ASS. Low damage, don't get the good infusions until later etc.
Will be using Astora greatsword lightning infused, Lothric Knight Sword Lightning infused as backup.

Lothric Knight Greatsword is better I think since it already comes lightning infused so you can turn it into refined and have better scaling and damage than Astora's.
It's unfortunate becasue Astora's really does have the best moveset but its damage is piss poor for an ultra greatsword.

The astora greatsword gets much better lighting scaling though. S rank. Plus then I'd have to spec a lot into stre/dex to max refined worth while. I've done this build before and I pump out some serious damage. Just keeping my stre/dex at the minimum required to use the weapon and 45+ faith I can hit for 300+ damage per swing. are greatswords that much faster than ultra greatswords? Seems to me with the exception of the Astora greatsword, they're rather slow. other than stab attacks. Like even the claymore is sluggish.
Which pisses me right the fuck off by the way. My first playthrough I snagged the claymore thinking it'd be the same monster as Das1. FUCKING NOPE. Garbage scaling, garbage moveset.
I like my old magic man, pisses me off that I have to wear the faggot fucking Dusk Crown though or I miss out on 10% damage.
