Why the hell are they selling 10 year old hardware for $200? I remember PS2 slims being available for $99 when the PS3 slim was out.
Literally who is going to buy a past-gen console at these prices when a modern office PC can run their games just fine? They should be at bargain bin prices right now! Hell, I can buy a PSTV for $60 with a controller and free game at Wallyworld.
...Unless of course, they still haven't pulled the plug on online support.

I remember I traded a New 3DS XL for a PS3 just last year, around February. It became my first console that came out after the PS2 because I was so poor lol. Had loads of fun with it, Uncharted, TLOU, Battlefield, Little big Planet, Ratchet and Clank. Sold it for a PS4 though, since Uncharted 4 was coming out.

They actually do become cheaper to manufacture, but there's no magic involved.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 have undergone quite a few under the hood changes to optimise the components, not to mention maturations in the manufacturing process.
