I liked it as well. It lacks structure though. I was expecting it all to lead to some detectivework. Like putting events in order and solving the mystery. At least some questions about what I've learned would have been nice.

So did I. Not as a video game, but as an experience. I like Sam Barlow as a writer though. Shattered Memories was great and this was super interesting.
It being a contender in all of the game awards was a bit funky though.

I liked Her Story too.
It was annoying to try to discuss this game back when it was released or when it had just won that stupid award. People constantly judging it without trying it (not even pirating it) and assuming it's "SJW" shit despite the fact it isn't.
Very entertaining and interesting premise for a game. Very cool execution (even if it's not how any database in any computer ever works or has ever worked) Was even a bit spoopy at times (I jumped the first time they had that flash when you discover something big)

The problem was it found its way into the spotlight because of the Awards show. Next to no one heard of the game before then and you can't expect gamers to be open to it if it was an unknown game that just so happened to obtain sweeping nominations in an awards show where games have to be VOTED IN BY THE AUDIENCE to be considered. This is isn't rocket science people.
That being said, I like the concept of the game and will probably check it out later on in life.

Yeah, someone told me about that. That definitely would have ruined the game for me if I knew about it beforehand. The whole point is that the game is chronologically completely jumbled up depending on how smart you are.
