Now the dust has settled, can we all agree that it's fucking crazy this game sold over 1.1m copies? That's an absolute fuckton of money and it was created by one guy on one platform with the game only being available in English with minimal marketing.
I mean, 5 years ago this sort of shit made sense, but the indie game space is so crowded that something like this breaking out like this is crazy.

Because Harvest Moon was a low-budget Japanese title. The series did okay but it wasn't a blockbuster or anything.
And, yeah, he's letting Chucklefish outsource ports for him so I would expect it to hit every platform going (sans mobile). I think it would do best on 3DS.
