yes I know and him finding better lines than them was stupid. Well having a navigator on your home course already was stupid as is. He already should have lost there. But I mentioned project D because it was basically the deathblow to initial D. Before that he could still lose (although with each win he basically made losing more unlikely since it would break his streak). Once project D started it was all downhill (hehe) since losing would destroy the project, instead of just being one loss.
Although the writer already kind of fucked up from day one anyway. By putting the yosuke battle at the end he couldnt lose before that. Then when he wrote himself in a corner by taking on the impossible battle he avoided it by blowing up the engine, effectively diverting the failure on the car.

I dont know about the racecourse but the slipping course is basically something extra they offer here at the same place as where you can get your drivers licence.
So google on slip training, drifting course or something like that. Go to the website of a race track close to you and see if they offer them on the website. You can also try to call them. If they dont have it they can might be able to tell you where to go to
