Fallout 4 was one of the only games I've ever not completed the main quest for. Played halfway through and lost absolutely all interest.
Before the first trailer was even over, it was obvious your character was from the past, and before the recommended videos even popped up, I predicted that it'd turn out PHONE WAS YOU and you'd been a robot recreation of a pre-war man all along. I heard about the main quest's endgame reveal about Shaun, but I never completed the game, so I've been discussing it for months, quietly assuming you also find out you're a synth. I legitimately had no idea that wasn't a thing that was already 100% confirmed.
Is this for fucking real? Is this really supposed to be a surprise? How does anyone actually think this fixes ANY of Fallout 4's horrendous story? The fact this wasn't in the endgame makes things so much fucking worse for some reason.
