You know I love the Uncharted series but can we not have this thread everyday
>>338384225
you would know
>dirt washes off windscreen if you drive under waterfall
>dirt on characters is dynamic
>Nate changes gear to drive/reverse in jeep
>sully/sam lean over edge of jeep when driving close to cliff ledge
>laser light from snipers bounces off objects/characters and lights up surrounding environment
Give me more tech moments you noticed in the game /v/
Bruce Straley is the best game director in the world. U2, TLOU and now U4
Hennig and Druckmann were just creative directors
>>338384446
Not everyone browses /v everyday, you know.
Is uncharted 4 buy a ps4 good? I could buy a new GPU with that monnies instead
>>338384653
depends. What's your current GPU?
>>338383890
>consoles are holding back gaming
>>338384768
970 I upgraded last year but I'm also buying in to the new gpu hype
>>338384873
get a ps4, good exclusives are finally starting to come out for it.
You have a fucking 970, you don't need to upgrade
>>338384238
> playing with UI off
well golly gee, I wonder how that's possible, surely he didn't just turn down the difficulty and turn up the autoaim
>>338384873
Buy a PS4.
You can have a 1To console with BB+U4 for 450€/$
It's retarded to buy a new GPU if you have a 970.
2016 PC gaming is Overwatch. Fucking Overwatch, my 6870 runs it at 60 FPS.
Does Uncharted 4 have limb based hurt animations?
>>338385009
Probably playing on lower difficulty, swinging like that will get you killed within 3 seconds on Hard or Crushing.
>>338385117
Yes
Some of the best environments and art design I've ever seen in a game.
this game looks okay, I guess....

As a person who actually played through Uncharted 4 this week, yes it looks pretty, and no, graphics STILL don't make a game good.
It's a good enough story to sit through, but pretty much zero replay value unless you're some kind of achievement whore and even then you're still going to sit through the same walk n talk and easymode climbing bullshit. Just like with the previous 4 games.
Now multiplayer, similarly to Last of Us most people just ignore it, but it's some good shit and without it I would've been pissed about my 50€ purchase.
>>338384531
>laser sight
>light up environment
>tech
hehehe
everyone should play this game
>>338387608
>but pretty much zero replay value
I'm going through a second playthrough, taking my time, exploring and taking in the visuals.
First playthrough: story and gameplay
Second playthrough: exploration and experimentation
>>338383890
Wow. Aside from the small rocks turning into water at the bottom, that's really impressive.
>>338387978
How is it not tech?
>>338384531
>laser light from snipers bounces off objects/characters and lights up surrounding environment
THAT'S NOT HOW THAT SHIT WORKSWhy would a sniper have a laser sight to begin with?
>>338384653
wait for the next version of the PS4

Do you even singleplayer store? It literally has bullet time mode, rainbow texture mode, 8 bit mode, all sorts of bullshit. Even helium audio.
>>338385419
That is the fucking coolest shit. I've never played an uncharted game but this picture actually made me want to try to
Didn't Borderlands 2 on PC using PhysX have a whole avanlanche of snowballs/particles in it that dwarf the OP webm?
Thinking about buying the nathan drake collection, i liked last of us but i think that was mostly because of ellie
>>338388508
8 bit and 4 bit audio are fucking retarded
What did Neil Druckmann mean by this?
Pre-baked shit isn't impressive, and UC4 pretty much relies on it entire. And when the game have to rely on the in game lighting, it looks like shit.
Polite sage for shilling
>>338388635
if you do, do yourself a favor and skip UC1
I keep seeing way too many posts from people who bought the collection, played just the first game, thought it was overrated and now consider themselves to be authorities on the whole series and why it sucks.
>>338388000
You can explore just as well on your first playthrough
Multiplayer is still the better part of the package unless you just want to stare at grafix or some shit
I'm not even shitting you when I say that you can get pretty much the same experience watching it on youtube, and the gameplay there is, is far better in the multiplayer
>>338388508
I wouldn't count that as much replay value, but I admit that I played around with those settings for a while. Thank fuck for encounter select though.
>>338388274
But at any range you would need a long range rifle like that, you couldn't even see the laser. And even if you could, you'd have to adjust it like, you know, the damn scope you're using which in turn would make the laser absolutely useless.

Wonderful, guess me preferring the multiplayer is also shitposting?
>>338389158

you miss nothing by skipping it
>>338389158
I've played them all except U1.

>>338389513
You can select any combat encounter and play through it
>>338389686
How?
>>338389513
it lets you start right at the beginning of every big combat encounter in the game, rather than having to go through walking/climbing sections to get to them after doing a chapter-select. Then it lets you restart the encounter or return to main menu once you finish it.
>>338388635
They're decent games and the remastered collection resolves performance and control/mechanics issues present in originals so I'd recommend it. The first is a little unrefined but the criticisms are vastly overblown.
>>338389887
I am replaying on crushing and I am stuck on the chapter 13 encounter "Island Jungle"
Look it takes this guy a fucking half hour to stealth and fight his way through it all and if you die you have to restart the whole thing from the beginning:
