I never liked Mario 64. I played the original and the remake. They just aren't fun.I hated Banjo Kazooie and DK64 too.In fact, the only N64 collectathon that I liked was Rocket: Robot on Wheels.I think people who list Mario/BK as one of their favorite platformers are bandwagon-riders, or they only had those two games as kidsI think the PS1, PS2, and PS3 were objectively better than the N64, Gamecube, and Wii/WiiU. But I still ended up buying the inferior Nintendo console eventually because owning one console is fucking retarded.I only use PC for emulating and upscaled console ports.

I think that the obscure lore is extremely pretentious and it was much better executed in Demon's where you knew exactly what you were doing but all the lore and backstory was still something you could piece together.
